There are currently 13 active cases of COVID-19 in Marion County, according to information released by the Joint Information Committee Monday afternoon.
Marion County has seen 87 total cases of the virus, with 74 people recovered. Most of the infected (44) are between the ages of 18-40. Those between the ages of 41-60 account for 22 positive cases, with only two elderly (over 80) cases. No one has died from the virus in Marion County.
Statewide, deaths attributed to the virus now stand at 722, with only two dying in the past three days. There have been 31,655 total cases in Iowa, with 24,981 recovered.
