Active COVID-19 cases in Marion County reaches 10

A report from the Marion County Joint Information Committee released Monday morning, June 22, indicates that there are currently 10 active cases of COVID-19 in the county.

Since the pandemic began, Marion County has had 56 confirmed cases. Of those, 46 have recovered and no one has died. There have been 1,575 tests conducted locally.

In Iowa, there have been 26,047 confirmed cases and 686 deaths. There are 169 people currently hospitalize with the virus. Hospitalizations have trended downward for the past four days.
