It may have been a slow start, but the Pella High Little Dutch baseball team left Indianola with a 13-2 victory.

The Dutch scored three in both the third and fourth innings before exploding with a seven-run rally in the fifth. Keagan Miedema struck out six and allowed only two hits in five innings of work.

Josh Miller went 3-for-3 for the Dutch, with a double, two singles, three RBI and a walk. River Baker and Drew Hillman each had two hits and scored three runs.

Nick Grandia, Nick DeJong and Colby VanGorp each had hits. There were 14 walks issued the Dutch in the game.

The Dutch host a big double header June 17 against Pella Christian, then host Gilbert on June 18.
