(from the Knoxville Public Library)
The Knoxville Public Library has the June and July calendars out.
All of the Summer Library Programming is online and links will be posted as the time gets closer.
A reminder that the WiFi is accessible 24/7 from outside the building. It requires a password that is posted on the door.
Reading logs can be picked up starting next week when we re-open. They are available online on Facebook. They will also be distributed at the Summer food program with the schools.
All programs are free and open to all. Some of the programming involves a Story Walk around the square or a scavenger hunt to do with families.
For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or Holly Shelford at email@example.com.
The library received a grant from the Marion County Community Foundation for Public Art at the Public Library. Part of the grant has been awarded to Kim DeSocio, who is drawing a wall mural in the children’s area and the other half goes towards art lessons for the public by Amy Uthus.
The library will have a series of 4 art classes on-line in June taught by Amy. A limited number of kits are available and can be reserved by calling 641-828-0585 or emailing the library.
We will be open starting June 1 Mondays through Fridays 10 – 5 p.m. with one exception, we will be open from 10 – 8 p.m. on Thursdays.
We wanted to make one night available to accommodate people getting off late from work or for people wanting to use the meeting room.
Computers and meeting rooms are open by appointment only with social distancing guidelines in mind and at 50% capacity.
Curbside pickup remains available through the month of June.
