The Class of 2020 at Melcher-Dallas High School will have two graduation ceremonies, due to COVID-19.

Superintendent Scott Bridges said the high school will host a virtual graduation ceremony on May 17, as scheduled, at 2 p.m. This will be followed by a parade through town, if the weather cooperates.

Plans are to hold another, live ceremony for the class on June 28 at 2 p.m. Bridges is unsure whether this will be held in the MDHS gym or the stadium at this time.

Looking ahead to the fall of 2020, Melcher-Dallas will abide by the calendar it has already approved.
