Marion County Conservation looks to reopen some facilities May 16

(from Marion County Conservation)
This week Governor Reynolds extended her proclamation for county parks through Friday, May 15. We are anticipating opening some of the Marion County Conservation facilities Saturday, May 16. This will include the campgrounds, cabins, restrooms, and shower houses, and disc golf courses at Marion County Park, Roberts Creek, and Cordova Park.

All shelter houses, playgrounds, game courts, and the pavilion area at Cordova Park will remain closed until further notice or until we receive guidance from the Governor.

The observation tower is among the list to open, but we will have signs posted asking to limit the number of users to 10 or less and to continue to practice physical distancing. The boat ramps and trails will remain open.

In all of these scenarios, we ask that the public continue to practice social distancing and good hygiene. We would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding as we work through the guidance we receive. In all instances, please note this is subject to change if we receive different guidance. We will continue to provide updates as we receive them.
