Senior Athlete Salute: Pleasantville boys’ golf

As we reached out for information on spring sports athletes who would not be able to enjoy their final season, Pleasantville High School Head Boys’ Golf Coach Chuck Sinclair shared this:

“Isaac Roe was our only senior golfer this year. He was a varsity starter all four years of high school (would have been if they had a season this year). Isaac’s highlight was winning the Colfax Invitational last year. He also noted that winning the Nodaway Valley Invite as a team two years in a row as a highlight. Isaac plays every day if he can. He has recorded scores in the low 30s for nine holes already this year. He is going to golf in junior tournaments this summer and is going to attend Simpson College in the fall to play golf and study computer science. His fondest memory of high school golf was going to tournaments and spending time with his friends.”
