New additions in the 4 p.m. release include include:

3/26/20 The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) has been notified of a total of 179 positive cases. There have been 2,578 negative tests conducted at the State Hygienic Lab to date.
The Knoxville and Pella Well Resource Centers are still open for client services including support & advocacy, financial assistance, prayer & encouragement, and resource referral.

COVID-19 is currently circulating in Iowa communities. All Iowa businesses have a responsibility to take measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is critical that livestock auction markets institute immediate changes to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among their staff, sellers, and buyers. The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) and the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) strongly recommend that all livestock markets adhere to the following guidance.
