The drug trial of Terrance LePaul Partee, age 46, of Pella, has been scheduled to begin May 4.
A search warrant was executed at a residence in Pella on Dec. 23, 2019. During the search, officers allegedly found 152 grams of a green, leafy substance that tested positive for marijuana, along with plastic bags and a digital scale.
Partee was allegedly inside the residence. He pleaded not guilty and waived his right to a speedy trial on Jan. 14. A pretrial conference is scheduled for April 2 at 9:30 a.m.
As with any criminal case, the suspect is innocent until proven guilty.
