The Pleasantville High School varsity boys’ basketball team went 1-1 Monday and Tuesday, with a 62-59 win on Monday over ACGC and a 72-43 loss to Van Meter on Tuesday.
In the win over ACGC, Teron Mount scored 21 points, had seven rebounds and an assist. Mason Scheve had 13 points, two rebounds, an assist and two steals. Mitch Harken had 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Caylor Clark led in assists with seven and Colby Sandholdt had five.
Van Meter scored 46 points in two quarters to help claim the win against Pleasantville. In that game, Harken scored 12, had three bounds and six assists. Clark had 11 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal. Tagen Douma had nine points, two assists, two steals and a block.
The Trojans’ game scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13, was canceled.
