KPAC named Marion County’s best live entertainment venue

The Knoxville Performing Arts Center was named the Best of the Red Rock Area as it pertains to live entertainment.

Knoxville Schools Superintendent Cassi Pearson wanted to thank everyone for sticking with the auditorium. Activities brought to KPAC through the Bravo! Concert Series, various dance studios, music teachers and others have made a difference. Pearson said the district would be glad to host even more events. She is thankful that the community, as well as staff members such as Will Gingerich, Tony Rider, Jim Oberbroeckling and Jackie Duffy, have really taken ownership of the facility.

Live entertainment was just one of the many categories voted on by visitors to the Red Rock Area website. This is the website for the Marion County Development Commission. Awards for the year 2019 were announced this week. Below is a list of winners.
