Panther bowlers face DC and Pella


The Knoxville Panther bowling teams traveled to Pella Tuesday night for a make-up meet, which turned into a triangular with the Dutch and the Davis County Mustangs.

The boys’ team finished second with 2,451 falling just short of Pella with 2,490. The meet came down to the last game of bakers.

The boys were led by Donovan Binns with a high series of 389 and high game was Blaise Hubler with 222.

The girls’ team finished first with 1,998 just holding off Davis County with 1,989. The girls were led by Hayden Wadle with a high series of 303, high game went to Kiana Brown with 167.

The Panthers are at home Thursday against Clarke at Monroe starting at 2 p.m.
