Pleasantville football ends season at 5-4

The Pleasantville Trojan football team finished its season with a 5-4 record, following its 47-0 win over Woodward Academy Friday night.

Cale Anthony earned the Class 1A District 7 rushing title by racking up 1,793 yards and 25 touchdowns on the season. This includes 328 yards and four touchdowns scored Friday night.

Seniors Brendan Aldrich and Hunter Oliva connected for a touchdown in their last game as Trojans. Caylor Clark threw another to Kolbie Jarvis for Jarvis’s Pleasantville football swan song.

Anthony also led the defense with seven tackles and an interception. Clark had a defensive interception as well.
