Twin Cedars’ Dunkin qualifies for State

Twin Cedars High School Cross Country Coach Trent Verwers reports that freshman Rylee Dunkin has qualified for the state meet. She placed second overall with a time of 19:55.7.

As a team, the Sabers placed eighth, with freshman Kisha Reed finishing at 22:04.7, Cheyanne Bruns, freshman, at 23, with a time of 22:04.9, Grace Bailey, sophomore, at 56, with a time of 23:50.7, Brooke Roby, sophomore, with a time of 27:21.6 and Chloe Swank, junior, with a time of 27:28.8.

Verwers added that all times are personal records for the Saber runners, with the exception of Dunkin. He is very pleased with how well his team did among “tough, tough competition.”
