Carlisle too much for the Dutch

The Pella High Little Dutch football team has fallen to 2-2 on the season, following a 42-36 loss to the Carlisle Wildcats on the road Friday night.

Quarterback Ryan Mace threw four touchdowns on the night, two each to Warren Page and Logan Shetterly. Mace had 242 yards through the air and 24 on the ground. Shetterly had 124 receiving yards and Page 70.

Nolan Clayberg rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Kody Huisman had an interception and Logan Baker recovered a fumble.

The Dutch defense did not get any tackles for a loss on Carlisle. Grant Nelson led all tacklers with seven total tackles.

This week is homecoming for the Dutch. They will face the 4-0 Knoxville Panthers Friday night.
