The Knoxville Panther football team is set to travel to Centerville tonight to take on the Big Red in a battle of 2-0 teams.

“Centerville will be a great test for us,” Head Coach Eric Kellar said. “Both of us are 2-0 and hungry to get win #3.”

Centerville has amassed 762 total yards, including 459 on the ground. Kellar recognizes that stopping the run is a priority for the Panther defense.

“We’ve had a good week of practice, and the kids are dialed in.  We have to stop the run to win this game.  We’ve worked really hard this week on knowing our responsibilities and execution,” he said.

The Panthers won last year’s contest, 27-12, at home in Ken Locke Stadium. So far this year, the Panthers have outscored their opponents 72-9.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Let’s go Panthers!
