The 2-0 Pella High Little Dutch will host perennial challenging rival Norwalk Warriors tonight at 7:30 p.m.

In the latest Iowa high school football rankings, the Dutch are number six in class 3A, according to the Cedar Rapids Gazette. Norwalk, at 1-1, is currently unranked. They are coming off a 21-27 loss to Dallas Center-Grimes. The Dutch beat DCG the first week of the season, 14-0 and are coming off a huge win over Mount Pleasant, 55-20.

“Norwalk is always a very talented and athletic team,” Pella Head Coach Jay McKinstrey said. “They are very big in the offensive line and have a very athletic QB. They will present many challenges for us offensively, defensively, and special teams wise.  They have a lot of depth and can play a lot of players.  Hopefully we can make another jump this week in improvement.”

Pella defeated Norwalk 31-17 in their contest last year. Kickoff for tonight’s contest is set for 7:30 p.m. at Pella High Stadium.
