Iowa State Savings Bank held its annual customer and community appreciation picnic on Friday, Aug. 16. With outstanding weather and good food, many people took part.
“Our annual customer and community appreciation picnic was a great success,” Bank Spokesman David Hoke said. “Visitors arrived about 10:40 and is was very busy until 12:45.  In terms of how many serve, I don’t have a perfect science but our crowd had to be near 700 or more.  This year marked our 12th year for the event.”

Marion County Bank will soon merge with the bank. Many from the Pella branch were on hand to help out and get to know Knoxville.
“It was fun for our staff to have several members from Marion County Bank on hand to help serve and greet our attendees.  As our merger continues, getting to know each other was also well served at the picnic.  Many of our attendees comment on how much they look forward to our picnic each year and share many kind words with us.  We were also blessed to have perfect weather, that always makes a big difference,” Hoke continued.
