Volunteer Appreciation Night at the Grand Theater

Since the inception of the Grand Theater Foundation over seven years ago, hundreds of volunteers have been key to the theater’s success.  From demolition to construction, to serving concessions to cleaning up after shows, to ongoing maintenance and facility improvements, volunteers have been, and continue to be, there serving our community.  The Grand Theater values its volunteers every day and next week will celebrate their ongoing contributions.

Coinciding with April being National Volunteer Month, a time dedicated to honoring all the volunteers in communities across the country, the Grand Theater is celebrating its many volunteers, past and present, with a night just for them at the theater!  The evening will include a light supper/social hour, a brief program looking back at the volunteer corps accomplishments and then movies!

The event will be held Wednesday, April 24.  Social Hour 6-7, Program at 7, Movies at 7:15.

All theater volunteers from over the years are invited.  Please RSVP one of three ways:
1) at the SignUp.com website – sign up for Wednesday, April 24th
2) leave a message on the movie line at 641-842-5415
3) email to director@grandtheaterknoxville.org
